New Years Resolution: Stay Up To Date!

So today I have once again played catch up on the blog. Like the title says I am going to do my best to stay up to date. I have to thank my hubby Jay for my wonderful Christmas present which allowed me to do this from the comfort of my couch. Although it took a lot of time at least I was comfortable. He gave me this awesome laptop pictured below. I think it might be easier now that I can post from anywhere in the house and I am not stuck in the office all by myself. Thanks babe! I love it! Lovely picture I know. I cried when I opened it. I really wanted my own laptop!
I just need to give one more thank you to my hubby and kids. I got an other awesome present. Jason along with the kids made me a memory book (on Shutterfly) to remember 2010. He went month by month putting pictures and captions on the page that highlighted that particular month. Again I cried, I couldn't believe Jason not only thought of the idea but went ahead and made it for me. I love looking at it and remembering the fun we had in 2010. This is the last picture in the book with the caption "Merry Christmas from all of us" It is something I will treasure and I look forward to making 2011's book and books for the years to come!

*Enjoy looking at all my catch up posts and just a side note some of them aren't on this page so you need to click on "older post" on the bottom to see all of them that I did today.*

Happy New Year's to all of you!

First Snowboard Trip of 2011

The boys look sharp in there new stuff!
Jason is a great dad. With less than 4 hours of sleep he drove up to Sunrise to take his boys snowboarding. He decided not to ski this time but to relax in the lodge and watch his boys. In this picture Brady is happy and I guess Conner was mad at Brady for dragging him down a hill he didn't want to go on. Because Conner was mad his stance makes him look stubby and chubby in this picture. Pretty funny!
Brady came home so happy that they went. He said his board and boots are awesome and he can't wait to go again.
Aside from that one hill Conner had a blast and loves his new gear too. He enjoys going and spending time with the boys.
I love the fact that they go and do this. My boys are getting better each time and really love it. Watch out Uncle Josh and JD these boys are gonna show you up. They plan on going many more times this year. They also love going with Katon and Uncle Steven. While they snowboard/ski I enjoy hanging out at Jenny's house and watching the little ones play. When Casey and Alexis start I hope to try it out.... ski's that is. Us along with Jenny's family are making some great memories!
I never thought we be a snow loving family!
Conner's fueling up for some more fun on the hills. Thanks Jason for loving you kids so much and taking the time so take them up and coming home safe! Here's to many more snow trips! Jenny and family we are coming...... are you ready for us?

New Years Eve!

We Started New Years Eve off with breakfast at Denny's. If you are wondering why this little guy is on my lap... no he is not mine although when he is with me I like to pretend he is. He is my nephew Chase. My sister Jenny and her family went to the dunes for the New Year weekend and we were lucky enough to have Chase stay and spend time with us. He was a blast! I didn't want to give him back. I jump at the chance to have him or any of his other siblings stay with me.
Here is my family waiting for there breakfast to come. It was yummy and the hot chocolate was so good. It was a very cold morning! I love going and having breakfast with all of them!
That evening we went to my Grandma's and Grandpa's Riggs for dinner and some games. I am lucky they wanted us to come. I enjoy spending New Years Eve with my kids and this was a lot of fun. We ate chicken enchiladas, corn, chips and salsa, cookies and ice cream rolls.
We played one of my favorites Riggs Rummy and then we played sequence with the kids. We love playing games! Thanks for having us!
Jason was trying to sleep a little bit because early the next morning he was taking his older boys snowboarding.
The drive home from my Grandparents house.
We made it home just in time to watch the count down. We then went outside and let off some legal fireworks. Here is the boys and sparklers.
Alexis was a little afraid at first but ended up loving it!
Chase fell asleep and then woke up so he went outside with us. He wasn't to sure about holding the sparkler but he loved watching the fireworks.

Family Fun Before 2010 Ends!

Jason had Dec. 30th off so we decided to spend time as a family. We went to the AZ Museum for Youth. The kids had a blast. It was so cold and windy outside but we enjoyed the day as a family. They had a NASA exhibit so we got to enjoy that.
After the museum we went to lunch at a place called Midwestern Meats. It was good and Chase was excited about his hot dog. We ran to the mall next, then got doughnuts and came home.
Here the kids made some crafts and had fun helping each other.
Brady and Conner built this thing. You drop a ball in at the top and watch it go down.
Chase had a blast putting these magnets pictures on a board. He played with this for a long time. He was so excited to show us what he had made.
All of the kids had fun building with these blocks and building tall towers.

Happy Birthday Dad!

Wednesday Dec. 29th was my dad's birthday. Here he is with my kiddos and my sister Jenny's kids. These kids do love their Grandpa!
My dad and I
I love my dad and he is a great Dad/ Grandpa. I hope this next year is a good, healthy one for him!
These kids love playing together. They all get along and just love each other. I am lucky to have a sister that I love and loves my family. I know my kids are safe when they are with her and her family. I love them and her kids so much! We love to visit them every chance we get. Good thing they don't mind us coming up there. Hopefully we never wear out are welcome.

Christmas Day 2010

This year for Christmas we decided to pick names within our family. It was fun to see what everyone bought for each other and we all used are own money to buy the presents. That's right the kids saved and used their own money. Jay had Conner and bought him a bank that counts money. If you know Conner it was a perfect gift. Alexis had her daddy and bought him two of his favorite movies: The Man From Snowy River and The Return To Snowy River.
Brady had Alexis and got her a Polly Pocket Boat. She loves Polly Pockets. Conner had Brady and bought him an air soft gun. He was excited to give it to Brady and Brady wanted one too.
I had Casey and I got him the Guess Who game. He loves to play games. Casey had me and got me a black watch that looks like a bracelet. It was something I really wanted and he got me one. He wrapped it himself and couldn't wait to give it to me. Picking names was a success and I know we will to do it again.
Santa brought Brady a snowboard, boots, gloves and a jacket. He was so thrilled when he saw it. Brady also got a lot of stuff he wanted. His music stand, a memory foam for his bed and a Nerf gun just to name a few.
Conner also got a snowboard, boots, gloves and a jacket from Santa. He screamed when he saw it. He also had a good Christmas....He got a Nerf gun, a remote control car and army Lego's just to name a few.
Santa brought Casey his own set of golf clubs, gloves and a jacket. Jason likes to take the boys golfing and he has been begging for his own. It was filled with golf balls. He loves it! He also got a camera, a baseball piggy bank, a pillow pet and ski goggles (which he can't wait to use) just to name a few.
Alexis was so excited to see that Santa brought her a kitchen. It is the cutest thing ever and she plays with it all the time. She makes some yummy food! She also got a lot of Polly pockets, an easy bake oven, a princess piggy bank, a camera and a pillow pet just to name a few.
I went to work the day after Thanksgiving and Jason went to Costco to buy this for the kids. I saw it and it was huge! I was a little worried because of its size but it has turned out to be the best thing ever. We play it all the time and have tons of fun! You can play against each other and it keeps score for you. We put it in are soon to be game room and we have some loud fun nights! Great job Jason!
Jay got some camping stuff so we will see if we start camping. He also got his golf clubs that he REALLY wanted! I think he was happy.
The boys got these cool scripture cases. They love them. Over all we had a great Christmas!

Christmas Eve 2010

My cute not so little anymore family. Although Jay is wearing the wrong color I think is still a pretty good picture. Once again we spent Christmas Eve at my parents house as we do every year. I love it and the food is great. Its so much fun and we have some great traditions.
Alexis and I
She is my little side kick.
I love my kids and I think they looked great. They all wanted to wear these clothes so I was happy to let them. They are growing up so fast but so cute! Conner loves to make silly faces.
Alexis and Grandma Sue
I have the best Grandma. This year just like in years past I worked during the holiday season. This year however I had the opportunity to be in charge so I had to work a whole lot more. My Grandma watched Alexis every time I had to work. They had a blast together and created great memories. I thank my Grandma for her help. I was able to work and not worry about Alexis.

Brady's First Concert

Brady had a concert in Dec (2010) and he did so good. I was prepared to hear screeching and flat notes but that did not happen. They played really well. Brady practices everyday and it paid off. Some of the songs were at a 7th grade level and he has only been playing since Sept.
We are proud parents! Keep it up Brady! Great job!
We all love you!
Thanks for coming and supporting Brady!
Grandma Lamb and Brady
Brady with his teacher. He had only good things to say about Brady!

Jason's Utah Trip

In December (2010) Jason headed up to Utah to spend time with some of his family. He was lucky enough to go to a Jazz basketball game with his brother in law Steve. They had great seats and enjoyed a great game that ended in a win. This is Jay in front of the John Stockton statue.
Jason in front of the Karl Malone statue.
A view from there seats.
He stayed at his brother Curtis' house and the next day the two of them went Skiing in Salt Lake. I am glad Jay had the chance to go and I know he had a great time.

Alexis' First Dance Recital

In Dec. 2010 Alexis had her first dance recital. She performed at a nursing home for the elderly. It was so fun to watch their faces light up as these dancers performed. Alexis did so good, she knew her dance and smiled so big all the way threw. She started dance in Sept. and I was a little worried but she loves it! Her costume for this kinda makes her look like a robber, but a cute one at least. I am proud of her and can't wait to see her perform at the big recital in May 2011. Great Job Alexis! We are proud of you!

First's for Casey and Alexis

Casey had his first school field trip. They went and toured the Chandler School District Kitchen. Casey said he had fun so that's all that matters.
Alexis got a big girls bed. We said goodbye to the toddler bed and welcomed this new one in. She also picked out her new bed spread. I think she did a great job. Now we just need to finish her room.
